Exercising leadership requires us to engage and influence with effect. Effective influence requires a conscious presence, and that starts with these two questions:

  • How do you show up?
  • How do you choose to fill space?

Development in this space requires balancing the necessary tension between authentic self and pragmatic moments of customer and peer-to-peer engagement. The presence we create has an immediate impact upon those with whom we interact. 

People are more likely to engage with you if you create a positive impact. They are less likely to engage, when they struggle to align with your purpose.  Defining your personal brand and strategic presence, can influence people’s loyalty, levels of motivation and commitment to action.
