Last week People Measures celebrated the end of 2020 in our traditional 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗘𝗢𝗬𝗚); a slightly different type of party this year. Close to 100 clients, partners, associates, students, and staff came together for our ‘Party in a Box’. The year required an innovative end – a celebration like none before. So in thinking outside the box while living in our own boxes, we had a magical time and came together to celebrate 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹, 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. Thank you to all of you who came (and those who couldn’t make it) for walking with us through this year. We value your patronage, your friendship and your support, more than we can express. It is times like these you find out who your friends are and we found that our support is solid, our clients stick by us and our staff always step up to the challenge. Thank you especially to our community partners at Waminda Aboriginal Women’s Service, who donated beautiful gift packs including self-care clay blends, loose-leaf teas and bush-tucker ingredients. Finally, in our annual giving we have this year made donations to SANE Australia and Cohealth, who both do wonderful work and have been stretched in this unprecedented year.
