      James is a facilitator and coach specialising in leadership and communications. In 2008 he founded REDgum Communications which merged with People Measures in 2018. James’s experience in media, teaching and performing arts form a strong foundation for his work. He’s an experienced and qualified coach to CEOs and executives with a significant track record in talent management, leadership development, media and personal brand.

      James has co-designed and/or delivered leadership development programs, including for the Australian Tax Office, Dulux Group, Kraft-Heinz, Australian Public Service Commission, Australian Super, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (Victoria), Dairy Australia and Parkville college.

      Potency in communication has been at the core of James’s career. He spent several years as a producer, director and presenter on Australian TV, and moved to Moscow as a newsreader for international News channel RT (Russia Today). He maintains his television presence as a presenter for Buchanan group’s Medifacts and co-hosted the Grass Matters podcast for JBS. James has written and directed four films including Bush to Belly – 7 Indigenous kids, an Italian coffee machine and 500 bike riders on the Gibb River Rd – screened on ABC International.

      Away from work, James is happiest when he’s building something with wood, planting trees or bodysurfing.
