    Anthony Ball

    Associate Director

      Anthony is a registered organisational psychologist who has over 30 years’ experience in various settings. Most of his career focused in the areas of talent identification, leadership development, change leadership and team building. Anthony has worked broadly across public, private and not-for-profit sectors working both inside organisations and as a consultant.

      Anthony’s approach to leadership development and coaching has been strongly influenced by the philosophy of adaptive leadership taught at Harvard University by Heifetz and Linsky. He has trained under these authors and has delivered leadership programs incorporating these core concepts with other evidence-based and psychologically sound leadership development approaches such as Kegan and Lahey’s theory of adult (vertical) development.

      He is an advisor to a number of organisations on talent related issues. He co-authored People Measures award winning research into identifying future potential. He was also a presenter at the Australian Psychological Society International Organisational Psychology conference where he presented the latest research into team building and into Talent Management.

      Anthony regularly works at the most senior level of organisations as a coach and facilitator. He has coached CEOs in the NGO sector and at the C suite of large publicly listed companies as well as several Band 3 Senior Executives in the Australian Public Service. Anthony has run team building workshops for the top teams in Government and the NGO sector. He has been a presenter and facilitator at a number of Executive retreats for significant Private and Public sector companies.
      Anthony Joined People Measures in 2010 as a Director and has built enduring client relationships and high levels of credibility with senior stakeholders. Clients value his ability to partner with them to understand their challenges and to create solutions to address these. Moreover, Anthony ensures that there is a focus on ongoing mutual feedback and that our collective approach evolves and and adapts as needs change.
